Boracay Sun : Major Accomplishments of Municipal Government (Malay of course) Part 1

the August 2011 issue of Boracay is now out. being an advertiser, so I read it page by page, word by word. period to period. I saw the column for the major accomplishments of the malay municipal government. Major ba? did i read right? or is it minor, very very minor.

first is the infrastructure, they accomplished so much daw. well, let them go to Bulabog, either the road going to Mt. Luho or the road going to 7 stones. after heavy rains or even not-so-heavy rains, these roads are knee-deep. yan kong knee lang, sa lola ko pa na cebuana, 'taga liog tuwaron', ay ayaw lang pagtuwad para dili taga-liog.

then they are talking about schools, they built schools daw, look at Balabag National High School! kulang sa electric fan, kulang sa upuan, kulang sa mga libro, kulang ng teachers, lahat kulang kulang! then at night, the students made this place their public motel, no wonder 50% native Boracaynon are getting pregnant before finishing high school. i don't know if there were security guards in this school, but I'll be thankful if there's no security guards because security guards were more powerful than police officers, they can rape students whenever they want.

then OMG, ang kindergarten ng Balabag, is made of nipa and other very light materials. i remember before they're having solicitation just to finish this 1 building for kindergarten. MG! hindi man lang nahiya ang taga Baranggay at taga Munisipyo! at lalong hindi nahiya ang mga malalaking companies na hindi nagbayad ng tamang buwis!
